The recipe as we know it could be changing for good.
McDonald’s are once again making headlines this week as they look to change their iconic Big Mac burger recipe.
The fast food chain confirmed plans to introduce sriracha to the list of key ingredients in bids to upgrade the burger for the next generation of visitors to the Golden Arches. A report earlier this year on news.com.au revealed staggeringly that only one in five millennials have ever tasted a Big Mac.

While it’s likely to be some time before it reaches our shores, McDonald’s are testing the new burger, the Sriracha Big Mac, at their Columbus, Ohio outlet – famed to be the store that is often the first to trial any new changes to the McDonald’s menu in the US. Needless to say, many people have taken to the internet to express their anger over the changes.

It’s not all doom and gloom though, fans of McNuggets will be happy to hear that Sriracha Mac dipping sauce is also being offered. Whether it’ll ever steal the show from sweet ‘n’ sour remains to be known.
