Chocolate sorbet
Well what is a Thermomix if not the very best sorbet maker in the world? This sorbet is not quite instant—there is some cooling time—but you can be eating it a very short time after you start gathering the ingredients. This recipe originally appeared in Cooking with Tenina: More great recipes for the Thermomix, by Tenina Holder.
Ingredients (7)
- 100g coconut sugar
- 50g rice malt syrup
- 50g cocoa
- 1 x 270ml tin coconut cream
- 700–800g ice, or frozen brewed Crio Brü
- 1 egg white (optional)
- Cacao nibs to garnish
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.
CloseMethod
-

2.Add coconut cream and 350g ice and blend 10 sec/speed 10.
-
3.Add remaining ice and egg white, and, with the aid of the spatula, blend 1 min/speed 9 until well combined. If the mixture is not solid enough to scoop, add more ice, or place into the freezer until it is.
