Bistro Guillaume, Sydney review (2016)

Bistro-Guillaume

Looking like a fashionable Parisian venue, Bistro Guillaume consistently produces great classic French dishes.

A champagne trolley, a dessert trolley and a cheese trolley — what more could any diner ask for?

With a fitout that looks like a natty Parisian bistro, there’s a lot to like about Guillaume Brahimi’s latest venture.

And the trolleys are a great way to punctuate a leisurely lunch or dinner that takes in classic French dishes. Consistency is a feature of this bistro, so expect food that fulfils its brief. Start with a twice baked cheese souffle with Roquefort sauce, go for steak frites, duck confit or moules marinières with chips as a main and finish off with an espresso.
