Chiswick, Woollahra, Sydney review (2016)

Chiswick

Chiswick offers a seasonal menu, with most of the produce either grown on site or locally sourced, guaranteed to have diners coming back again and again.

Perhaps Sydney uber chef Matt Moran’s best-loved venue, Woollahra’s Chiswick (as well as its Art Gallery cousin) is a welcoming and warm venue that will keep diners coming back time and time again.

Much of the restaurant’s offerings are grown in the garden on the grounds, while Moran and his offsiders source meat and other produce from local providores who work together to bring the restaurant’s nose to tail ethos to life. While the seasons and their bounty dictate the menu, Chiswick’s lamb features year-round and is tasty enough to tempt even the most pontificating vegetarians away from their equally delicious warm vegetable salads.
