Fratelli Paradiso, Potts Point, Sydney review (2016)

Fratelli-Paradiso

Fratelli Paradiso, going strong for 15 years now, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options which are all just as enjoyable as the others.

It took three Melbourne waiters to create a Sydney institution. With exposed brick walls, a chalkboard menu written in Italian and all-day service, Fratelli has been going strong for 15 years.

No matter when dining here, you know the food will be good. Breakfast like an Italian on strong coffee and something sweet like the freshly-made bombolone, big fat doughnuts filled with vanilla custard.

But never fear, they also do eggs. Everyone does fried squid, but here it’s a dream; have it as a light lunch with a glass of natural wine or follow it with spaghetti scampi if you’re hankering for carbs.

Come with an appetite for dinner if you want to tuck into the one kilo Fiorentina steak because you need to leave room for the tiramisu.

Must eat: Fried squid with rocket and balsamic
