Restaurateur Chung Jae Lee has a big personality, and it permeates his restaurant. Bright murals, polished concrete floors underfoot and industrial ducting overhead are the backdrop for a punchy menu of Korean favourites: pork and vegetable dumplings, dulsot bibimbap in a hot stone bowl and – LMK’s speciality – Korean barbecue.
For a less hands-on meal, choose from the a la carte menu – perhaps slow-cooked coconut beef cheeks with pumpkin puree or Korean fried chicken with lime chilli sauce. The drinks menu encompasses Korean soju and beer alongside Australian, New Zealand and French wines.
