Galston, your secret is out.
The recently opened The Vintage Pantry: Secret Garden is bringing country charm to Galston.
The second venue for owner Jane Stephan, the restaurant follows nearly four years after the opening of the original The Vintage Pantry in Pitt Town — now called The Vintage Pantry: Country Blossom.

The Galston restaurant opened six months ago and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a beautiful space for weddings, events and functions.
The 300-seat licensed venue, in the space formerly occupied by Greenshades Cafe opposite Galston Village, offers the same warm hospitality and sense of community as the Pitt Town cafe.
A white picket fence, vintage decor and a patio covered with a canopy of autumn leaves evokes a peaceful atmosphere, and touches such as the fresh rose on each table and pops of blue and white will be familiar to Pitt Town regulars.

With a playground, room to roam and a children’s menu, the space is great for everyone.
The menu is made up of Mediterranean influences and ranges from Greek platters to steaks, ribs, woodfired pizzas and pasta dishes — all beautifully presented.
Weekend brunches are incredibly popular, with queues for picture-perfect dishes like the signature “edible garden in a pot” or the Belgian waffles topped with mouth-watering flavours including salted caramel, banana, berries, lemon curd, chocolate and peanut butter.

Both the Pitt Town and Galston venues will offer special breakfast and lunch menus for Mother’s Day, which has been dedicated to Mrs Stephan’s grandmother and inspiration Louisa who passed away in January.
Bookings are essential.
