- “I had a great icy Negroni-style dessert at OTTO Brisbane, but can’t remember the name as I had, um, 10 negronis. [We suspect it was the Mandarino, which does indeed sound lovely. – eds.] Also as been nibbling at the delicious. - “I went to The Resident on College Street, which is opposite Hyde Park. You can read our review, but here’s the quick version: snacks like anchovies and gordal olives are great with drinks (try some Spanish vermouth), small plates hit the mark as veg-type mains or smaller seafood dishes (charred octopus tentacle with ajo blanco, or roast broccoli covered in chopped egg and fish sauce), and there’s bigger meats off the grill.
