Craig Tansley has been a travel and travel lifestyle writer for longer
than he cares to remember (21 years at last count). His work has
appeared in Australia and the world’s best known titles (from the New
York Times to London’s Sunday Mail).

He’s an adventure lover but considers the meal and drink after (or
before) just as important. He’s a fan of everything from the best
Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs to the cheapest cold beers on tap at an
outback pub.

He grew up in the Cook Islands and Byron Bay and his mum has lived
on a yacht since last century, so he never had a chance to live a
normal life. When he’s not travelling he loves a surf and a coffee by
the beach. These days he splits his time between the Gold Coast with
regular visits to Chicago.
