Chef line up for Taste of Sydney 2016

Sydney's favourite canteen makes a return - as a pop-up - while The Farm in Byron Bay is coming to town. Taste of Sydney 2016 is on next month, and we have the scoop on which chefs are coming.

Want to a sample bites from Sydney’s hottest restaurants? Be sure to bookmark Thursday, March 10 to Sunday, March 13 in your diary, when Taste of Sydney returns to Centennial Parklands.

The 2016 line-up will include a pop-up return of Mike McEnearney’s cult-status Kitchen By Mike canteen, wood-fired ovens manned by flame-whisperer Lennox Hastie, of Firedoor, grunge-ramen by Salaryman and “social dogs” from just-opened Kensington Street Social.

Dreaming of a trip to visit Darren Robertson’s Three Blue Ducks at The Farm, Byron Bay?  There’s a farm yard recreation in the works, and there are fresh flowers and produce for sale.

As well as bites from all of the Sydney restaurants below, there’ll be knife work masterclasses, cake decorating and sushi making classes, live entertainment, demonstrations, and interactive exhibits, plus our own Digital Editor Kate Gibbs will be hosting the chefs’ sessions at the Electrolux stage.
