Smoke and ginger sours
The smokiness of the whisky is reminiscent of the smoky aromas of summer barbecues, boosted with a zippy bite of fresh ginger.
Ingredients (5)
- 5mm piece ginger
- 50ml whisky
- 25ml lemon juice, plus lemon slice to garnish
- 15ml agave syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.Place ginger in the cocktail shaker and bash with a muddler or rolling pin. add remaining ingredients to shaker, fill with ice and shake well.

2.Strain cocktail into a double rocks glass filled with ice. Float the lemon slice on top to serve.
