Trinh Richards
CHEF
Trinh Richards began cooking with her mother in their Adelaidian home kitchen. Her father, a fisherman, and her mother, a tea and coffee farmer in Southern Vietnam, were the catalyst for Trinh’s love of food.
Looking for a sea change, Richards and her husband/co-conspirator, Mike, moved to the Fleurieu Peninsula. After some time in the wine industry, they opened a pop-up market stall. Simple takeaway offerings in its infancy quickly progressed to bistro dining. With a tiny kitchen and 20 seats in a small shed that had once been the original Blacksmith in Aldinga, The Little Rickshaw was born.
