After 19 years of radio and TV drama production & talent agent experience, Lucy met the chef, broadcaster and writer Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall on a fishing boat off the Dorset coast and took up the offer to join him at River Cottage.

She worked at River Cottage for 16 years, predominantly as a writer as well as supporting Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall on media and campaigns. Her book “Christmas At River Cottage” was published in October 2021. Her freelance work includes ghostwriting for high profile people and working on her own wishful writing ideas.
