Matt’s achievements and reputation have led him to be named Evening Standards top 1000 most influential Londoners. His ground-breaking work has impacted the cocktail industry globally having co-founded Fluid Movement and seven award-winning bars across London & Sydney (Purl, Worship Street Whistling Shop, Dach & Sons, Talented Mr Fox & Peg + Patriot, Scout – London & Sydney) He is also the creator of the boutique gin company Wolfs Nose.
Matts seasonal British cocktail bar Scout is currently ranked #28 in Worlds 50 Best Bars and was also final four nominated at the Spiritied Awards for World’s Best New International Bar 2018 and World’s Best international Bar Europe division.
With a strong focus on food, he was also awarded Best Bar Food at the UK’s Class Awards. Matt was recently also awarded the accolade of European Bartender of the year at the Mixology Awards.
In 2018, Matt published his first book The Modern Cocktail.
