After a two-year hiatus, Australia’s most trusted and comprehensive review guide, the delicious. 100, is back for 2022!

The delicious. 100 is made up of four definitive lists that rank the most exciting, innovative, generous and delicious restaurants in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.

The last 12 months has seen our team of dedicated reviewers visit restaurants new and old, near and far, on our insatiable quest to bring you the country’s most delicious restaurants on a plate.

“It’s no secret that the last two years have been tough on producers and restaurants. But the hospitality industry has not been discouraged, and we are on a mission to find and share the most delicious restaurants in 2022,” said delicious. editorial director Kerrie McCallum.

We want the delicious. 100 to be something you can use every day, not just for special occasions. For dining out well, week to week. It is a massive undertaking, and one that we do in partnership with our sister newspapers in each state. This means we source the 100 most delicious restaurants in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia, embarking on more than 400 reviews around the country, and with each meal paid for via an independent reviewer. 

This year’s guide celebrates the resilient spirit of our state’s many restaurateurs, chefs, bartenders, kitchen hands and waitstaff. We hope you’ll join us by raising your knife and fork in support.
