This May, The Streets of Barangaroo is celebrating American Express delicious. Month Out with a festival of flavour. An ode to the wonderfully diverse and unique ingredients native to Australia, the month-long Flavours of Australia initiative will see some of The Street’s best spots transform their menus and venues – check out the deals below.
Anason
Modern Turkish restaurant Anason has added three limited edition dishes to its menu, each using Indigenous ingredients. Choose from smoked beetroot tartare, hummus and local rock oysters – or why not sample all three?
Banksii Vermouth Bar & Bistro
Sydney’s first venue dedicated to Vermouth, Banksii, is offering a three-course Native Australian shared menu for $89 per person. Feeling fancy? Add an Australian Vermouth tasting to the start of your meal for an extra $30 each.
Chi by Lotus
The flavours of Beijing and Australia are put on show at Chi by Lotus this month, with two must-try menu additions – deep fried saltbush, and a Davidson plum negroni. Order the $99 banquet for four or more and receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling Harvest Blanc de Blancs.

Swing by Lotus and sample the exclusive cocktail, the Red Ear Lantern. Made with hibiscus-infused Aperol, Davidson plum vermouth and sparkling wine, this is a cocktail like no other. Don’t miss it, the Red Ear Lantern is available for a limited time only.
Oh!Boo Chocolates
Local chocolatier Oh!Boo have created two bespoke chocolates celebrating the flavours of Australia. Try the dark chocolate Australian river mint praline and the Tasmanian pepperberry with strawberry white chocolate.
Shirt Bar
One special cocktail is making an appearance on the Shirt Bar menu – the Big Dripper. Starward Two Fold Whisky meets Brookies’ Mac. liqueur (made with macadamia and wattleseed) and Tia Maria cold brew coffee, and is finished with a twist of orange.
Wild Sage
Wild Sage’s Flavours of Australia cocktail will have you thirsty for more, made with Aussie Granny Smith apples, vodka, Midori, pineapple juice, lychee soho, lemon juice and sugar. Grab yours for $18.
Love.fish
Love.fish has created a bespoke cocktail for Flavours of Australia – the Davidson Plum Dream-Tini, available for $18.
