The restaurant melds South East Asian cuisine with indigenous Australian ingredients, with famous dishes like the Otak Otak spanner crab curry and gado gado with crudites.

Once you’ve finished your degustation, head upstairs for a luxury experience at the five-star Windsor Hotel, which includes valet parking.

“It’s a good excuse to visit the city and to see their favourite restaurants are there and ready to welcome them,” he said. “The city is coming back to life, but in winter most restaurants get quiet and so will need the support of diners and customers.
