Marmelo is Ross and Sunny Lusted’s opulent take on the coastal cuisines of Portugal and Spain, inspired by the small restaurants and bars where the daily market haul shapes the menu. Centred around a custom-built charcoal grill and woodfired oven, the menu is driven by fire, seasonality and a deep respect for produce.

This May at Marmelo, Lisbon Nights brings the ritual of early evening in Portugal to the heart of Melbourne. From Tuesday to Saturday between 4pm and 6pm, Marmelo shifts into a more relaxed rhythm, pouring aperitif-style drinks designed to open the appetite and ease into the night. Expect port and Madeira served in the traditional way, alongside playful house creations like the Porticano, and crisp pours of the Portuguese pale lager, Super Bock. It’s that special moment between day and night. A drink before dinner, or the start of something longer.

Available Tuesday to Saturday, 4pm to 6pm. Selected drinks priced between $9 to $14. Includes a curated menu of Portuguese aperitifs, wines and beer. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
