The tipsy trio includes a strawberry and pink peppercorn gin, a vanilla and pandan vodka and choc hazelnut whisky.
Fans of the classic Neapolitan combo of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate can now enjoy their three favourite flavours as an after-dinner tipple.
Sydney-based gin distillery Archie Rose has teamed up with gelato giant Messina to create a limited edition Neapolitan set, which includes a gin, vodka and whisky inspired by the beloved banded ice cream tub.
First in the collection is the strawberry and pink peppercorn gin made from strawberries from Messina’s farm in Dural, along with locally foraged pink peppercorns and native river mint. Second in the set is a vanilla and pandan vodka, distilled from high-quality Heilala vanilla with fragrant pandan. To complete the collection is the cacao husk and hazelnut whisky, made from macerated cacao beans and roasted hazelnuts, with notes of raisin and peanut brittle.

Archie Rose master distiller Dave Withers said: “Working with Messina’s outstanding farm-grown ingredients, combined with Neapolitan ice cream as inspiration, gave our production team the opportunity to push the nostalgia button and add a grown-up savoury twist to the classic sweet dessert.”
And because no one should have to choose between gin or ice cream, Messina is also launching a limited edition Neapolitan gelato tub, to correspond with the launch.
If you want to learn more about your spirits, Archie Rose and Gelato Messina are putting on a virtual cocktail masterclass on September 25, to show you the best ways to shake them up.
The Archie Rose X Messina Neapolitan set is priced at $109 for 3 x 200ml bottles. It is available to purchase from September 7 from independent bottle shops, the Archie Rose Bar and archierose.com.au.
