Want a night off from being your own bartender? A giant cocktail shaker will be cruising the streets of Sydney this month, delivering free drinks from the city’s best bars to your doorstep.

Keep an eye out for the silver shaker (it’s actually pretty hard to miss) as it will also be promoting a special code that can be used to redeem free drinks online. If you can’t spend the whole day hanging out the window – we hear you – you might want to try “madeformixing”, just don’t tell anyone we told you.

Monkey Shoulder has partnered with a number of Sydney venues to pull off the impressive stunt. For the first week, the Monkey Mixer will be collaborating with Potts Point bar, The Roosevelt (May 13-17), followed by The Unicorn in Paddington (May 20-24), Donny’s Bar in Manly (Maly 27-31), and finally, Maybe Sammy in the Sydney CBD (June 3-7).

This week’s cocktail menu includes an old fashioned, as well as a whisky-forward take on the espresso martini and negroni.

The Monkey Mixer launches today – World Cocktail Day – and will run until June 7.
