The Vivid Food pillar just got even more exciting, with a day-to-night festival food, drinks, art and music

Vivid 2023 is one for the books and as part of the inaugural Vivid Food line up, the HERE NOW festival is on a mission to bring some of the most innovative, influential and fun characters in Australia’s food, drink and music scene together for one heck of a party.

On Sunday, June 11, Macquarie Place Park will come alive for the day-to-night celebration of all good things, bringing together chefs, restaurateurs, winemakers, writers and artists for a series of engaging discussions led by industry experts. Naturally, there will be plenty of food and drink on offer too, so come hungry.

Co-curated by socks-and-sandals enthusiast and P&V founder, Mike Bennie, and Chat Thai restaurateur and regenerative farmer, Palisa Anderson, the lineup is jam-packed with industry leaders. Annita Potter of Woolloomooloo’s Viand, Morgan McGlone of Bar Copains, Jowett Yu of Ho Lee Fook and Ms. G’s, Nick Hill from Porcine, and Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham of Mary’s will all be there peddling their wares.

For the drinks component, Bennie has curated a lineup of Sydney and New South Wales’ artisan winemakers, brewers, distillers and drinks producers, all who adhere to socially conscious practices. Experience the P&V Baller Bar; Marrickville brewery Wildflower Brewing; Blue Mountains winery Frankly, By Bob; Narrabri’s Black Snake Distillery; South Coast winemakers Benson & The Mooch; Hunter Valley’s Wine By Mem and Lo-Fi winemaker Sabi Wabi; Inner West distillery Lily Fields Distilling Co; non-alcoholic brewery Heaps Normal; and Marrickville’s non-alcoholic winery, Ghiddy. Check the website for the full lineup.

The HERE NOW event runs from 3-9pm, Sunday June 11 at Macquarie Place Park. Tickets to the 18+ event are $55.15 and can be purchased here.
