It's packed with citrus and spice and all things nice.

If you like a serious kick to your G&T, you’re going to love this punchy new gin by Australia’s most awarded gin label, Never Never Distilling Co.

The Pink Pepper Gin is a collaboration with one of Adelaide’s most popular gin bars, Hains & Co, and is infused with 16 botanicals to create a refreshing new twist on a classic gin and tonic.

A blend of pink peppercorns, pink grapefruit, Sichuan pepper, mandarin, poppy seed, gunpowder tea and Murray River pink salt (among a bunch of others) are among the star botanicals, with inspiration coming from the spice trade routes of Asia which have been in place since around 1000 BCE, so there’s a lot of history packed into this 500ml bottle.

“We wanted a gin that was built for a cracking highball gin and soda serve, but also something that was able to deliver fantastic G&Ts,” Never Never co-founder and brand director Sean Baxter said of the new release.

“It also needed to be flexible enough to work in classic cocktails like a Negroni. This was a really tough one to get right, but the end result is absolutely spectacular, we love what we’ve been able to create.”

Launching on May 30, the bottles will retail for $79AUD and can be purchased through the Never Never Distilling Co. website here.
