Cheers, Your Majesty!
The Queen has been known to enjoy a dry martini from time to time and now she can shake one up using her very own gin.
This week, the Royal Collection Trust has launched an official Buckingham Palace gin, and it’s been given the royal seal of approval.
The small-batch London dry gin reveals a whiff of the royal gardens, with woody, piney notes of juniper with lemon verbena, hawthorn berries, bay leaves and mulberry leaves, which are hand-picked from the royal residence. The gin can be sipped straight or mixed with tonic and garnished with a slice of lemon.

You can even use the spirit to make a few of the Queen’s favourite tipples, from a dry martini to a Dubonnet – a two-ingredient cocktail made from gin and French fortified wine. Do as Queen Liz does and knock one back before lunch.
The turquoise glass bottle has been elegantly adorned with a golden crown and a colourful wreath of flowers.
The Buckingham Palace gin will be served at official events at the Palace and is also available to purchase online at a price of £40 (around $72) per 700ml bottle at rct.uk/shop and at Royal Collection Trust shops in the UK. Proceeds from sales will go to the Trust, a charity which maintains and displays royal artefacts.
