Drink up: beer glasses get crafty

Drink up: beer glasses get crafty and fizz flutes rebel yell

And fizz flutes get a makeover, too

Craft beer is now a mainstay with the cool (over-age) kids and, giving it the respect it deserves, Swedish-Italian company Sempli has come up with a range of glasses engineered for the arty brew-loving crew to enjoy the ultimate craft beer drinking experience. The Monti range includes four glasses for specific drops: IPA, Pilsner, pints, and 12-ounce bottles and was created with a flat bottom to enhance the carbonated bubble effect of a just-poured cold one.

Over in crystal land, the cut-glass minds at Waterford have teamed up with British contemporary design star Jo Sampson to go all rebel with a cause (and that cause is drinking champagne). Their new ‘Rebel’ range of glassware is inspired by the current punk rock redux and social situations that call for a streetwise attitude to drink serving. Anchoring the collection around the punk rock emblem, the stud, this collection of jewel-hued gleaming glassware is 100% rock n’ roll. RRP from $69.95 for a martini glass.
