Coca-Cola Raspberry Zero Sugar hits supermarket shelves

Would you try it?

Coca-Cola is proving the original isn’t always the best with a new Raspberry Zero Sugar flavour.

The drink is billed as boasting an “oh-so-refreshing raspberry taste, without the sugar.”

In 2019, Coca-Cola Raspberry was available for a limited time. It proved popular enough that the soft drink behemoth has brought it back. But this time, without the sugar.

It’s a smart move for the soft drink behemoth, with the sugar-free carbonated drinks market due to reach a staggering $243.5 billion, globally, by 2030.

In 2020, the market was ‘only’ worth $125.3 billion, which represents a compound annual growth rate of 7.3 per cent from 2021-2030.

So, it seems we want our fizzy drinks, but without our teeth falling out. It’s the equivalent of having our cake and eating it, too.

“We understand that people are looking for more low and no sugar options, and this new flavour is an exciting addition to our existing zero sugar range,” says Kate Miller, Coca-Cola Marketing Director – South Pacific.

Coca Cola Raspberry Zero Sugar is now available from supermarkets in 600mL bottles.
