The only way to make a royal wedding G&T

Gordon's Gin

Royal wedding fever is only continuing to flourish with the impending date drawing ever closer. And while no doubt in celebration there will be plenty of (quality) Champagne popped on the day, there is now fittingly also a very English gin to toast to the latest addition to the British Royal brood.

As one of the Royal Family’s favourite spirits, Gordon’s has created a gin blend in honour of the Royal nuptials – the Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin. The new rose-hued spirit combines the taste of the classic Gordon’s London Dry Gin with the sweetness of raspberries and strawberries, redcurrant and an extra dash of juniper.

Despite it being rather on trend (it is a shade of millennial pink after all) this rose gin is really a traditional recipe pulled from the Gordon’s archives. The drink has been inspired by an original Gordon’s London Dry Gin recipe from the 1880s. It’s designed to be served as a spritz, combined with ice, tonic water and (for the decadent) a slice of strawberry or two to garnish.

A tipple fit for a royal wedding if we ever did see one.
