Teetotalers, take note.
Taking a break from the booze? A strong new contender is set to enter the alternative gin market this summer, bringing a bouquet of South African botanicals to your sober night out.
Ceder’s, which takes its name from the Cederberg mountains in South Africa, combines rare and obscure botanicals with pristine Swedish water.
The alt-gin comes in two flavours: Ceder’s Classic, a floral blend of juniper, coriander, geranium and native fynbos shrub, and Ceder’s Wild, which combines juniper and rooibos with warm spices like ginger and clove.
The distilled drinks are designed to be served with premium tonic, lemon and rosemary, just as you would any other gin.
Ceder’s will be available for $45 from national liquor stores from November 1, 2019. For more details, head to ceders-alt-gin.com
