Live life in the fast lane with this limited edition Aston Martin Single Malt Scotch Whisky

One for the road.

Luxury carmaker Aston Martin has teamed up with Islay’s Bowmore Distillery to released a limited edition Single Malt Scotch Whiskey inspired by the famous 007 car, the DB5.

Something that we imagine James Bond himself might like to drink, the high-end whiskey reveals orange peel, black cherry and crème caramel on the nose, followed by tropical fruits, acacia honey, coffee and tobacco smoke on the palate.

The precious liquid comes housed in a contemporary glass bottle and presented in a calfskin-lined box, which has an unmistakable secret agent look to it.  It also comes with a genuine Aston Martin DB5 piston and whiskey manual.

The 31-year-old dram hails from 1964, the year after the first DB5 car was released and the same year it took a starring role in the hit movie, Goldfinger.

But before you hand over your credit card, we suggest putting on the brakes. Aston Martin is releasing just 25 bottles of the Bowmore Black DB5, at the eye-watering price of $91,170 driveaway, which is slightly less than a new series Aston Martin.
