Tell your mum, white wine spritzers are back (only now they come in cans)

Choose from a Bondi, Noosa or Sorrento-inspired spritz.

Canned cocktails have come a long way from the Bundy & Colas of our youth. From Archie Rose espresso martinis to Four Pillars Gin negronis, even those old enough to drink are turning to the pull-tabs of RTDs.

The latest canned concoction to hit the market is a craft range of wine-based spritzers by former bartender of the year and Batch & Co owner, Thomas Kiltorp.

Noosa spritz.

The Batch & Co range is made up of three flavours, each one inspired by a different Aussie beach town. There’s the Noosa Spritz, a citrus-driven drink made from white and pink grapefruit with rosé, the Sorrento Spritz, which combines Pinot Grigio with figs and pears, and the Bondi Spritz, a sweet and summery mix of rosé, guava and strawberry.

No shaking, stirring or muddling required – just pour over ice or knock back straight from the can. Batch & Co Spritz are priced at $22 for a pack of four from Dan Murphys.
