Do your bit for the bushfires with a Bundy.

Queensland distillery Bundaberg Rum has teamed up with the World Wide Fund for Nature to create a limited edition tipple that raises funds for bushfire relief.

The Australian Bushfire Regeneration Rum is made from Bundaberg Original Rum Aged 3 Years and comes in an Australian-themed bottle, with a koala in place of the usual Bundy bear. The rum is said to reveal fruitcake on the nose, with nut, caramel, vanilla and oak on the palate.

Bundaberg Rum will donate 100% of profits from its regeneration rum to the Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund, which seeks to restore damaged wildlife habitat.

Bundaberg Rum brand manager Duncan Littler said: “We know our Bundy community will always try to help out a fellow mate during a tough time. The impacted communities, bushland and wildlife still need our help today, tomorrow and well into the future, so we’ve launched this limited edition bottle to help do our bit for bushfire relief.”

Bundaberg Rum Australian Bushfire Regeneration Rum is priced at $45 for a 700ml bottle from bundabergrum.com.au. You can also find it at select Dan Murphy’s, First Choice and BWS stores nationwide.
