The Northern Territory’s Charlie’s of Darwin has released their first in-house gin, the aptly named Darwin Gin.
The gin is infused with territory-inspired flavours and botanicals, like Kakadu Plum, and labelled with an eye-catching crocodile design.

Since opening in March 2020, the NT’s first gin bar has gone from strength to strength. From making their own hand sanitiser during the pandemic to recently being named in the top 20 bars to visit in the world in 2021 according to UK newspaper, The Telegraph. One of only two Australian establishments to make the list, Charlie’s was ranked at number 18.

Charlie’s of Darwin was established by Rebecca Bullen, who wanted to bring a touch of Melbourne’s vibrant bar scene to the top end, the bar includes a hidden, graffiti-painted alleyway entrance and all-seasons rooftop bar.
The first batch of Darwin Gin is available from Darwin Distilling Co, Charlie’s of Darwin and Stone House Darwin now.
