It's taken a while but canned cocktails have finally come good.
Canned cocktails don’t have the best reputation – especially if your point of reference is passionfruit UDLs. Thankfully, we don’t have to revisit the tangy artificial flavours of our youth, with a number of respectable craft distillers releasing their own range of fancy cans.
The latest tin to win us over is Love Can, a canned concoction by Sydney gin distillery Poor Tom’s with Melbourne soda maker StrangeLove. The resulting range includes an aromatic G&T infused with bergamot, grapefruit and chichona flowers, a vodka yuzu spiked with Japanese yuzu juice and an apple and chamomile vodka, and a negroni-style spritz made from strawberry gin, orange aperitivo and Mildura lemons.

Not just a convenient size for the handbag, the well-designed packaging means you won’t be embarrassed to rock up to your next summer barbecue with a four-pack under your arm.
Love Can is priced at $23.99 per four-pack from Dan Murphy’s and BWS.
