Hip hop icon Snoop Dogg is back with a hot new release and this time around it’s for a “laidback, Californian-style” gin.

Indoggo is made from a blend of seven botanicals, including juniper, orange, angelica root, cassia and coriander, and infused with natural strawberry flavour. It is said to taste “smooth like the D.O. double G” with a slightly sweet and fruity finish. And because The Doggfather is all class, the tipple comes housed in a neon purple bottle with a gold foil stamp of the rapper’s signature.

“I can’t wait for the world to taste my remix on gin,” Snoop said in a statement. “When I wrote ‘Gin And Juice’ back in ’94 it was about good feelings and real experiences, it just naturally became a global anthem.

“When creating Indoggo, I wanted to give those feelings new life with an approachable juicy gin that’s smooth like the D.O. Double G.”

Naturally, serving suggestions include gin and juice, specifically pineapple juice with a dash of soda. It can also be mixed with strawberries, lemon and sugar syrup to create a cocktail Snoop calls The Remix.

As it turns out, the boss dogg is no stranger to the culinary scene. In recent years, Snoop has teamed up with Martha Stewart to host a cooking show. He has also released a cookbook – From Crook to Cook – and has his own wine label.

Indoggo Gin is set to launch in California this month, with greater distribution planned for 2021.
