Keep the International Coffee Day celebrations going well into the evening with this new mocha tequila by Aussie spirit brand, Sesión.

Designed for a late-night pick-me-up, the caffeinated concoction is made from premium Jalisco tequila, infused with dark chocolate and coffee.

The new tipple reveals chocolate fondant, biscuit and roasted agave on the nose and cold brew coffee on the palate, with a creamy mouthfeel and sweet finish.

Skip the shots, Sesión Mocha Tequila is designed to be sipped over ice, or shaken into your favourite cocktails for a new twist on an old classic.

The Australian-owned tequila brand is made in Jalisco, Mexico and uses 100% blue agave, ripened to a minimum of eight years in the ground.

In honour of International Coffee Day, Sesión Tequila has teamed up with cult favourite Sydney bakery Humble to create a boozy tequila mocha cake, spiked with a generous splash of mocha tequila.

The limited-edition layer cake is made from almond dacquoise topped with chocolate ganache, chocolate sponge, espresso syrup, Sesión Tequila
Mocha cremeux and torched meringue.

Sarah Hughes, Pastry Chef at Humble said: “Given the task of creating a unique cake using Sesión Mocha Tequila, we have taken inspiration from the origin of the Agave spirit we love with a take on a popular Mexican after-dinner drink coffee carajillo.”
