Dressed in a distinctive green apothecary-style vessel, the trendy new tipple is already being served at foodie faves such as Melbourne’s Kisume, Chin Chin and Sydney eateries PS40 and Mr Wong’s.

Peddlers Rare Shanghai Gin features a light floral nose, zesty citrus notes, distinctive sweet spice and a smooth, dry finish, it pairs well with tonic, and makes an epic negroni or martini.

The maker’s forage for their botanicals in unique locations across China, infusing the spirit with unique notes of Sichuan Pepper, Buddha’s Hand, Lotus Flower, Chinese Mint, Coriander seeds and Guangdong liquorice.

Peddlers Rare Shanghai Gin (45.7% ABV, 750ml) is priced at RRP $88.00, and available from Dan Murphy’s, Vintage Cellars and all good spirit retailers.
