Stock up your liquor cabinet at this gin sale next week

Aldi gin sale

Among the tipples you'll find a Seville Orange and Persian Lime Gin for $39.99, that was recently named Best Flavoured Gin at the International Gin Masters.

There’s nothing like cheap gin to cheer you up. Speaking of which, discount supermarket Aldi is throwing a spirit sale next week, which includes four bargain gins, two of which have recently picked up prestigious international awards.

The Greyson’s Seville Orange and Persian Lime Gin was recently named Best Flavoured Gin at the International Gin Masters for 2019. The gin is described as tasting bright and fresh, with notes of sweet lime, juniper and zesty orange. The bottle will hit stores next week for just $39.99 for a 700ml bottle.

From the same range, you’ll also find the Greyson’s Spiced Apple and Winter Berry Gin ($39.99), which reveals warm wintery flavours of apple and cinnamon.

Also on sale is the Ha’Penny Dublin Dry Gin ($44.99), a handcrafted small-batch gin flavoured with 13 botanicals including geranium, lavender and blackberry. The Irish gin is said to taste of fresh moss and sweet grapes, with notes of spice and oaty sweetness. It recently took out a silver medal in the World Gin Awards in 2019.

Last but not least, you’ll also be able to get your hands on Gordon’s pink gin, a pretty-in-pink tipple infused with raspberries and blackberries for just $39.99.

The gin sale is part of Aldi’s special buys for August, with the range hitting stores in NSW, Vic, ACT and WA on August 5. For more details, head to aldi.com.au.
