Fizz the season.
New vintage sparkling wine label Jacob is now offering a bookable three-tiered Champagne tower experience for your next Gatsby-style soirée at home.
Whether you’re celebrating the Melbourne Cup, a missed birthday or just a Friday night out of lockdown, nothing says sip sip hooray quite like stacked Champagne coupes.
Along with the Champagne tower, the experience comes with a dedicated wine expert, an antipasto board from The Grounds of Alexandria, and enough Jacob sparkling wine to ensure a very merry evening.
If you haven’t already had a sip, Jacob is a new sparkling wine by Trina Smith, a wine industry veteran with specialist sparkling experience at Brown Brothers, Treasury Wines, Jacob’s Creek, and more. She’s also a finalist in this year’s Winemaker of the Year. Her new tipple is made from the holy trinity of sparkling varieties – Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier – with all grapes sourced from South Australia, namely the Adelaide Hills region. The resulting wine is full of complex and distinctive brioche and nougat characters thanks to the extended maturation period of 32 months.
Valued at $500 for the special one-off price of $150, Jacob’s Tower will be available to those in the Sydney metro area from 6pm – 8pm every Friday and Saturday night in November for groups between 7-14 people. To book, head here. For everyone else, Jacob sparkling wine is available to purchase for $30 a bottle at Dan Murphy’s and leading bottle stores nationwide.
