Gather your pinot pals, it’s on again.
Perfectly timed with our annual migration to lighter-style wines, Pinot Palooza is set to hit three Australian cities over the next few weeks, so get your glasses at the ready.
While Adelaide and Perth are currently in recovery mode, the annual mass inebriation event will land in Melbourne on October 5, Sydney on October 12, and Brisbane October 13.
Those with a passion for the purple grape will be able to taste up to 200 wines from 70 different wineries, with silky samples from Australia, New Zealand, the USA, France and beyond.
Best of all, you won’t have to purchase pesky tokens, with all-you-can-drink pinot tasting included in the price. This year, tickets will set you back $65 for general admission and $90 for VIP, which includes access to sommelier-led wine talks and masterclasses.
Drinking on an empty stomach is never a good idea, which is why there will be a number of food trucks and vendors on the day, serving up alcohol-soaking snacks. Details are yet to be announced.
