Is this the most convenient wine of all time?

Australia’s love affair with rosé shows no sign of slowing down. If anything, it looks like the wine is set to continue its climb in popularity thanks to a convenient new take on the drink – rosé in a can.

The nation’s first ready-to-drink sparkling Rosé is called Rosé Rosé, and comes courtesy of the team behind pre-packaged cocktails company Melbourne Martini.

“It’s a seasonable drink, we want to be known as a fun alternative to that of the traditional bottle of wine, whilst maintaining the upmost premium quality,” explains Melbourne Martini Director Alexander Haeusler of the company’s new invention.

Rosé Rosé is a premium Mclaren Vale rosé that contains notes of berry and soft florals. It is sold in a single-serve 250ml can, and is available in a four-pack for an impressive  $24.99.

It was designed with summer in mind, and should be served as such says Melbourne Martini. “Rosé Rosé is an inexpensive and easy to drink summer beverage that is best consumed chilled, pool side after a long day in the office or why not #RoséRoséallday.”
