And the winners are...

Things are tough in hospitality at the best of times, not to mention, in an economic crisis. Well, for six Sydney restaurants, things just got a bit easier thanks to the Amex Backing International Small Restaurants Grant Program.

The grants program – which is in partnership with the International Downtown Association Foundation and Restaurant & Catering Australia – is designed to help support small independent restaurants with community significance, as they navigate the challenges of the current economic climate.

Restaurants operated by underrepresented and/or economically vulnerable members of the community are given additional consideration.
