Archie Rose has launched a grapefruit and cassia gin hand sanitiser

They've got 4,500 bottles and they're just $20 each.

Sydney’s Archie Rose Distilling Co. is the latest gin distillery to start pumping out hand sanitiser following shortages nationwide.

The team has turned its hand to hygiene, creating a house blend of Grapefruit, Cassia, Cardamom and Thyme Sanitiser, made from its botanical distillates.

The hand sanitiser contains 65% ABV and follows the World Health Organisation guidelines for an effective and safe hand sanitiser.

Archie Rose has reallocated its spirit production capacity, which has enabled the gin giant to produce a massive 4,500 x 500ml bottles in just 10 days – and that’s only the first batch.

“We will continue to produce sanitiser for as long as we can, or as long as is required. We will also be redeploying as many of our full-time bar staff as possible who have been stood down as a result of the forced shutdown of all bars, to assist in filling, packaging and shipping the product,” says Archie Rose founder, Will Edwards.

Archie Rose Hand Sanitiser is currently available to purchase on a pre-sale basis on the Archie Rose website for $20 per bottle, with first shipments of the product due to leave the distillery this Thursday, March 26. There is a purchase limit of six bottles (one case) per person. To buy, head to archierose.com.au.
