Need a little pick-me-up? Blackwater Distillery has teamed up with Barry’s Tea to create a comforting new brew for the home office.

Blackwater Barry’s Tea Gin is made from an Irish gin, distilled from juniper berries, cinnamon, cardamom, orange and lemon. Before bottling, brewed tea is added to the spirit, imparting an earthy taste and soft, amber glow to the liquid.

The tea leaves used are sourced from Africa and boast a fragrant, full-bodied flavour.

Serve with ice and lemon for an iced tea, tonic for a G&Tea, or vermouth for a mar-tea-ni.

Blackwater Barry’s Tea Gin is priced at $110 for a 500ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s.
