Located above Supernormal’s Brisbane location, Bar Miette is a European-inspired terrace and cafe with views over the Brisbane River. It’s a flexible space with an ‘as-you-please’ attitude. The menu, like the aspect, is suitable for any occasion – stop in for a glass, stay for the bottle. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner or something in between, the menu is built upon the best local produce, resulting in a selection of elegant salads, charcuterie and seafood along with more substantial options.

With a base of Agnes Bakery ciabatta and layered on mortadella, hot and mild salami cotto from LP’s Quality Meats, chopped Byron Bay Co Sicilian olives, red onion, Falls Farm tomatoes and provolone cheese, the beauty is in the balance – salty, sweet, savoury and briny flavours all melding together. The Miette Muffuletta is best enjoyed on a warm afternoon on the terrace, with a drink in hand and the Story Bridge as your backdrop.
