Iconic Aussie ginger beer brewer Bundaberg has teamed up with New Zealand chocolatier Whittaker’s to launch a new limited-edition chocolate block spiced with their famed ginger brew.

Whittaker’s Brewed Ginger Caramel will be made from Whittaker’s super smooth 5 Roll Refined Creamy Milk chocolate, filled with sticky ginger caramel, made from the same ginger brew that is used to make the beer.

“Both family businesses have a long-standing commitment to excellence and are entrenched in the trans-Tasman way of life,” said Bundaberg Brewed Drinks CEO John McLean. “It makes sense for Australia’s best soft-drink and New Zealand’s most trusted brand to join forces, particularly during a time when consumers are looking for familiarity.”

Bundaberg Brewed Ginger Caramel will be available to purchase from Coles supermarkets from August 31.
