It's a miracle.
A lot has happened since Cadbury first announced that its new toffee block Caramilk Hokey Pokey would not be coming to Australia this year. That said, we still haven’t quite got over it.
Despite these earlier claims, it appears Caramilk Hokey Pokey IS actually for sale here, with a number of sacred blocks spotted at various IGA supermarkets and BP petrol stations in Victoria and Queensland.
Caramilk Hokey Pokey has been spotted at a BP in Malvern, Narre Warren and Croydon in Melbourne, as well as in Woolloongabba in Brisbane. Blocks have also been snapped up and scoffed at IGAs in Ipswich and in the Gold Coast suburbs of Surfers Paradise, Parkwood and Coomera.
It’s not great news for the other states, but I think we can all agree Victoria really needed a win right now.
Could Cadbury have caved to public pressure? Or, perhaps some anonymous hero has taken to distributing it locally? All that really matters is that the caramelised white chocolate block with crunchy toffee pieces is now available Down Under. Good luck finding yours.
