It's really happening: Marble chocolate hits shelves next week

Marble chocolate.

A date has finally been set.

The dark days are over. Eight years since Marble was suddenly and inexplicably removed from supermarket shelves, the block is back.

For the uninitiated, Marble is Cadbury’s most delicious creation (sorry Caramilk). It’s made from a hazelnut praline centre, topped with swirls of milk and white chocolate. Basically, it tastes like those Guylian seashells, only better.

Paul Chatfield, Marketing Director for Cadbury said: “Given the current climate, we’re glad to bring a little joy to those around the country who have been calling for us to bring back Cadbury Dairy Milk Marble. Cadbury has been providing Australians with a welcome treat for over 100 years, particularly during times of need.”

The taste may be the same (thank god), however, the packaging will look a little different with Cadbury recently updating its logo and design.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Marble will be available at leading Australian supermarkets from Friday, April 17, for a recommended retail price of $5.00.
