Wednesday’s episode of MasterChef revealed a mystery box like no other. There were cherries, manuka honey and spring onions, but nobody really bothered with those, everyone went straight for the chicken feet.

And whether you usually eat chicken feet at home or not, the country has never wanted to gnaw on a foot more.

In fact, Deliveroo has revealed that searches for chicken feet were up 5,272% following the MasterChef episode, and it even cracked the top ten search terms.

And customers were not disappointed. Deliveroo has 144 chicken feet dishes available. For those as hopeless at cooking chicken feet as Simon, you can find a myriad of steamed, pickled, braised and grilled chicken feet dishes to try. What you can’t find, however, is chicken feet caramel.
