Sure, you could make your own gingerbread and then build a house with it, or you could just sit on the sofa and scoff these new gingerbread-spiced ice creams from Coles.

Each sweet treat is made from gingerbread ice cream rippled with spiced biscuit pieces and caramel sauce, then coated in milk chocolate.

It’s one of 275 new festive foods recently launched by the supermarket giant, which also includes this rather epic Ferrero Rocher choc hazelnut cake.
