And if you’re curious about street food from different Indian states, Colors of India has plenty of delicious bite-size morsels on offer, such as kachori (crisp pastry filled with spiced lentils) and pani puri (light shells filled with potato and chickpeas with a tangy sauce).
The main dishes are fresh, punchy and deeply spiced (don’t go past the Goan fish curry or the malai kofta), and for the month of March as part of the inaugural American Express delicious. Month Out, Colors of India Parramatta is offering 30% of your food bill when you book through TheFork
It’s probably best to bring a crowd because you’ll want to try everything on the extensive menu.
Oh, and did we mention the syrupy goodness of the gulab jamun? Just make sure you leave room for dessert.
