Holey moly: Melbourne has scored a dedicated doughnut delivery service

Donut mind if I do.

If there’s one thing that’s going to get us through this madness, it’s doughnuts. And thankfully, getting a dozen glazed rings shipped straight to your door has never been easier. The team behind Goldeluck’s has launched Donut Dash, a new online-only doughnut delivery service for when you need a sweet snack, stat.

Forget cinnamon sugar, these handmade doughnuts come in a range of decadent flavours like raspberry and white chocolate, red velvet with cream cheese, and Nutella and Ferrero. There’s also apple fritters, cinnamon scrolls and twisters, if you like to keep a varied diet. The most popular item is the six mixed doughnut box, which is priced at just $10.

Unlike sister business Goldeluck’s doughnuts, Donut Dash is able to keep its prices super low, due to the fact that it has no bricks-and-mortar stores and has its own in-house delivery service, which means no pricy commissions paid to third-party drivers. It also means they can reach more people, with affordable delivery available to more than 500 suburbs around Melbourne.

In response to the stage four lockdown, Donut Dash has decided to take a short break, however, they will be back on September 13. That gives you just over a week to make sure you have your order ready. In the meantime, Goldeluck’s doughnuts is still offering Melbourne and Australia-wide delivery.
